THE DEMON MAELSTROM Cover Concept Art

So the first draft of the cover for The Demon Maelstrom is complete and ready to show. I'm trying to preserve a sense of continuity in the looks of all three covers, with the solid background and the iconic silhouette. I hope y'all like it, and let me know what you think!

Final Cover Design

Thank you all for your input on the cover designs I have submitted over the past months! It has been quite helpful.

The final cover may not bear a close resemblance to the previous iterations, but the design evolved out of all the suggestions I received and from my own ideas of how the book ought to be reflected on the cover.

When I have a review blurb for the book, it will be going below the title in small text. Until then, though, that part of the cover must remain a great big empty space. Sigh... :-)

See if you can read the word in the shadows...

New Book Cover!

I had put up a post earlier with two separate book covers I had designed for The SubVersion Complex. Based on some of the feedback I got on those pieces, I went back and redesigned the cover, incorporating a much older visual idea into the new black background and text. I think the visuals gel together nicely. If you have any thoughts, please share below in the comments!

Book Covers!

I've been hard at work creating sample book covers to see which one works the best for the book. But since you all are here to help me better my writing and story and whatnot, I figured it was only fair to let my audience have their say on which cover design they like better. I have two designs so far to share with you, both similar in color but with slightly different looks and impacts.

This first cover is the older of the two designs, as my ideas were evolving:

And here is the second and newer of the two designs, going for a slightly more minimalist design:

Let me know your thoughts on both in the comments section below!
